Public Theater and Classic Theatre Co-Sponsor Gala On Oct. 20

Show your support for the San Antonio theater community and have fun doing it!

On Friday, Oct. 20, The Classic Theatre of San Antonio and The Public Theater of San Antonio will be co-hosting Curtain Up, a co-gala event benefiting both theaters.

This dazzling evening will feature performances, catered food, and an opportunity to mingle with the stars of the San Antonio theater community. All proceeds will contribute to the continued success of these cherished cultural institutions. On this night, the spotlight will shine on our city’s vibrant performing arts community, ensuring that the curtain never falls on the magic of live theater in San Antonio. Here’s the agenda:

6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Pre-Function
Sponsors’ Happy Hour in the Cellar Theater
Hosted by The Classic Theatre of San Antonio

6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Seated Dinner for Sponsors

7:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Bar and Lobby Open for all Gala Ticket Holders
Heavy Appetizers Served

8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Curtain Up Gala Performance

9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Curtain Up After Dark Dance Party

Dancing and Desserts

The evening’s dress code is sequins and suits. Curtain Up will be presented at the San Pedro Playhouse, 800 W. Ashby Pl. Single gala tickets are $175, and includes open bar before the show, gala performance and afterparty. Tickets are available here.
