Classic Silent Comedy with Live Musical Accompaniment
Step back into 1925 for a magical evening as Agarita performs Stephen Prutsman’s vibrant live score to Buster Keaton’s silent film Seven Chances. Experience the timeless comedy of the silver screen brought thrillingly to life through the energy of live chamber music. Featuring Joseph Conyers, bass, and Jessica Petrasek, flute.
Keaton stars as Jimmie Shannon, the junior partner in the brokerage firm of Meekin and Shannon, which is on the brink of financial ruin. A lawyer brings news: Jimmie will inherit seven million dollars from his late grandfather if he is married by 7:00 p.m. on his 27th birthday, which happens to be that same day.
