Performing in different venues every week is a thrilling and, oftentimes, challenging venture! Join us for an evening discussing what it takes to pack up your life and perform in theaters all over the country, led by touring veteran and AEA actor Patrick Dunn. Learn the ins and outs of Broadway National Tours, stories of traveling America with a company of actors and technicians, and how to fit your entire wardrobe into just one bag.

Having made his NYC debut at the age of 12 and with 20+ years as a member of Actors Equity, Patrick has been ‘at it’ for quite a while. Patrick most recently led the North American tour of Les Miserables in the role of Jean Valjean. Prior to that he was seen in Spectacular New, touring production of Phantom of the Opera (Phantom u/s) Previous credits include Waitress (first national tour — original cast) Hal Prince’s Candide at NYC Opera (Candide u/s) A Christmas Carol: the Musical at Madison Square Garden (Young Scrooge), Jesus Christ Superstar (Jesus), Pirates of Penzance (Frederic) and Titanic (Barrett). BFA: the Hartt School.

Let’s Speak Shakespeare with Actor Melissa Danielle
Does the language of Shakespeare make your head spin? We’re here to help! Join Melissa as she helps break down the Bard in a way that is fun and easy to understand! Students will learn the ins and outs of Shakespeare’s pentameter, become familiar with his plays and sonnets, and uncover some historical realities of the Elizabethan era along the way.
